Cannon Hall, a co-ed residence hall, is located on Hardin Street next to Hoey Residence Hall. Cannon Hall has a combination of independent and Greek student floors.

Mr. and Mrs. Cannon have long been noted for their strong interest in education, history and cultural development, and all their life together they worked for these ideals. Mr. Cannon was the Chairman of the Board of Directors of Canon Mills Company.
