Doughton Hall is located above Hoey Residence Hall. It is a co-ed residence hall. Doughton is named after a trio of political and business figures, Robert L., Rufus, and J. Kemp Doughton. Rufus Doughton was a member of the General Assembly for 12 terms and presided over both houses as speaker of the House and as lieutenant governor. The building was occupied in September 1964. |
