Gardner Hall, a co-ed residence hall, is located next to Coltrane Residence Hall on Stadium Drive. Gardner Hall's lobby is connected to Coltrane Residence Hall and may be seen on right in the picture.

The late Governor; Max Gardner and Mrs. Gardner (the former Fay Lamar Webb) were two of North Carolina's most famous citizens and widely admired public servants. He served as governor during the depression years of 1929-33.

Gardner is a smoke-free residence hall.
