McKinney Alumni Center, located on the east side, is one of the latest additions to the Appalachian campus and is the home of Appalachian's Alumni Association and the Appalachian State University Foundation. The 7,200 square-foot facility houses a large reception area, conference room, great room, and the offices of the Alumni Association and Appalachian Foundation offices. The welcome center for returning alumni was made possible through the generous support of many members of the Appalachian family.
